Crystal River’s backcountry is one of Florida’s most scenic and productive fisheries — and our inshore trips put you right in the middle of it. Whether you book a half day or a full day, you’ll experience the raw beauty of Nature’s Coast with a captain who knows every bend and grass flat in the area. Great for families, beginners, and seasoned anglers alike.

Meet Your Captains

When you step aboard a Native Charters vessel, you’re in the hands of two of the most dedicated fishing guides on Florida’s Nature Coast. Captain Bobby brings a lifetime of angling knowledge to every trip, shaped by generations of fishermen who came before him and sharpened by years of running charters through Crystal River’s diverse inshore flats and offshore waters. His background as a professional firefighter instilled a calm, safety-first mindset that carries directly onto the water. Whether you’re targeting trout on the grass flats or running 120 miles offshore to the Middle Grounds for grouper and snapper, Bobby knows these waters and how to put fish in the boat.

Captain Alyssa rounds out the team with her own deep well of fishing experience and a natural ability to make every angler on board feel comfortable and confident. Her patience and coaching instincts shine whether she’s helping a first-timer land their first redfish or dialing in a technique for a seasoned angler looking to sharpen their game. Families, kids, and anglers of all backgrounds consistently leave her trips with big smiles and even bigger fish stories.

Bobby and Alyssa are a husband and wife team, and together they bring something to the Nature Coast charter scene that’s genuinely hard to find: two experienced, passionate captains who care as much about your experience as they do about finding fish. Book a trip with Native Charters and find out what fishing with the right crew feels like.
